Lesson
Stress Free Start-Up
Shutting down programs from running in the background (This does not stop them from working, just from always starting when the computer runs)
If you type msconfig in the run area of the start up this window will show up, and I use selective startup. then choose the tab "Services"

here I check "Hide all Microsoft services" and then select Disable all, then apply...

Then Click the "Startup" tab then open the task manager….
and make sure you are in the startup tab, and "Anything" that you do not know what it is, or something you do not use ALL the time, disable. You will still be able to run the programs, they just don't run in the background

Antivirus software scans, be sure those are scheduled for times that you are not using the PC, but it is on
The system will reboot and hopefully you will see a quicker boot and smoother running apps right away
